WHAT: Throughout April in celebration of Earth Month, Sprouts customers can join in the healthy grocer’s commitment of adding goodness to the planet and local communities by partaking in the “Take Good Care” pledge.

Five entrants will win a Home Garden Makeover package, complete with essentials like raised garden beds, plants, seeds, organic soil, and compost bins, along with a solar oven and a $500 Sprouts gift card to help winners turn their garden bounty into healthy meals.

WHERE: Shoppers can visit sprouts.com/take-good-care-pledge to sign the pledge and be entered to win one of five home garden makeovers between now and April 28, 2021*.

WHY: Sprouts is committed to taking care of the planet and local communities by expanding goodness through access to healthy food, opening stores from coast to coast that are built responsibly with eco-friendly materials and practices to reduce carbon footprint and waste, and carrying good-for-you products from brands that are caring for the Earth. This month, Sprouts wants to encourage shoppers to take good care by inspiring them with earth-friendly products and easy tips and tricks for DIY projects at home, like creating a sustainably, natural all-purpose cleaner and tips for simple composting.

As part of Earth Month, the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation has pledged to take good care of communities where Sprouts shoppers and Team Members reside by refreshing five nonprofit partner school gardens. EnrichLA in Los Angeles, Sage Garden Project in San Diego, Big Green in Denver, Blue Watermelon Project in Phoenix, and Edible Peace Patch Project in St. Petersburg have used a grant from the Foundation to make improvements in their gardens, including new seasonal crops, refreshed raised garden beds, outdoor classroom amenities, and more that will help these sites better serve students and surrounding communities who learn from and are nourished by the gardens.
